We cordially invite you to come take part in two upcoming town halls that feature a plethora of anti gun state legislators! Let them know how you feel about their continued efforts to stomp on your rights!
This Wednesday, April 9th, join Senator Diane Rosenbaum and Rep. Carolyn Tomei at the SMILE Station in Sellwood. Address is 8210 SE 13th Avenue. Runs from 6:30 to 8:00.
Then, on Monday, April 21st, our *favorite* state Senator, Ginny Burdick, will be holding a town hall. Joining her will be fellow firearm prohibitionists Senator Richard Devlin, Reps Jennifer Williamson, Margaret Doherty, and Ann Lininger.
All of these legislators have supported anti gun bills and/or taken anti gun stances!
Rosenbaum is the chair of the Senate rules committee, where this past session’s SB1551 went to die. While it sat in her committee, it was amended in the 11th hour. It was a classic gut & stuff, where all of the original language was replaced. Fortunately, it didn’t move forward.
We’re all familiar with Ginny Burdick. Wonder if Vegas will do odds on whether or not she’ll show up this time!
Representative Jennifer Williamson wants to go back and soften up Measure 11 crimes, while at the same time making it harder for you to defend yourself against the criminals who would be let out or get away with a slap on the wrist.
Check out our facebook events for these 2 town halls, and we hope to see you there!
